Over the past couple of weeks the play station network has been down not allowing the play station owners the ability to go online and play. Apparently the network was hacked by some faceless hackers wishing to inflict damage on the system network because if you may not know the play station network accounts for the biggest amount of income to Sony, from the system besides actual purchase of the play station machine. The big debate of the moment is that the security is completely unsecured and that people were unsure if they wanted to keep playing their ps3's and instead looking into buying a xbox 360. there are many theories about how completed the hack, the biggest theory is that the hackers were commissioned by Microsoft (the makers of the xbox 360 for those of you who don't know) to try and put there business rivals out of work and in turn leave xbox the only online system running. But in my opinion it was a good thing that the ps3 network has been hacked and shut down. It is going to show to the ps3 owners that you cannot just have a free online network without having certain quality issues, did you know that for one play station network technician xbox live has 4 technicians. That makes such a huge difference in quality it is not even funny the fact that play station has tried to cover it up with new company statements saying that the security is being looked in to is completely hilarious. If you have to remind your online gaming network about security before they look into it themselves it is pathetic.
To finish this off i am going to say that the only reason that the play station 3 is bought is because people think they are getting a deal because it is both a game system and a blu-ray player, but in the end real gamers don't buy a system to get a deal they buy the system to play some freakin sweet games and for that the only choice is obvious buy a xbox 360
not a ps3.
