On April 6th the Comedy Network released its brand new show Workaholics. The show features three characters (Adam, Blake, and Anders) who live in the same house and work at the same telemarketing company. The show is fueled by situational comedy within the workdays of the three main characters. However, the show contains coarse language, use and reference of drugs and alchohol, so if this doesn't sound like your kind of show than dont watch it.
The show first started when an executive at Comedy Central saw one of the groups many comedy sketches on youtube. The guys had originally had a sketch comedy group called MailOrderComedy on youtube, and produce their own music tracks as a rap group called "The Wizards", and even put some of their songs into Workaholics in their 9th episode. A few plot ideas for a few of the episodes are figuring out how to pass a drug test, camping out in the office while their house is being fumigated while burglars break in, and making friends with an online pedophile.
During the shows first aired episode on April 6th, they instantly had approximately 1 million viewers. By the third episode they already had 1.5 million viewers and were quickly announced back for a second season. Each season has 10 episodes at 20 minutes each. I personally cant wait for the airing of the second season in the fall.
WIZARDS CAN'T DIE.
