When a student needs money for something he usually goes to his parents for money. now if there like my parents they will be hard-asse's and not shell out for something important like a laptop or PS3. This annoys most of the student population because after being told that they may have no money for the item accompanying that statement is something along the lines of this: "If you want to buy something like that then get a job you lazy bum". This makes teens uneasy because most teens havent had to work for anything in there lives up until this point making it a scary time for a spoiled teen. Now though there are ways to get around the "scary" fact of honest work. There is a new form of payment form young teens called loan easy, the place loans money to broke teens then charges incredible intrest with which the teens could never pay off by themselves. Of coarse the teens will try to hide the debt from there parents at first but eventually the debt will be so high that the teens will be forced to ask for help from there parents. At first the adults will be in shock from what there son/daughter has done but as they cool off they beging to realize that there son/daughter will have to get a job to pay the parents back which in the end learns the teen respect for there money and how to appreaciate honest work in everyday life.

i think its awfull that this company is willing to put teens in even more debt. its just another way to ripp off kids. i agree with the parents just get a job .... then u will learn some res[onsibilty, and personally i think it osnt responsible at all to go behind your parents backs and then exoect them to help u get out of your mess , if my child did that i wouldnt help ... that is a lesson in responsibility in itself.
ReplyDeleteWow I have never heard of a company like this! I don't like the sound of it either.
ReplyDeleteI understand that students have busy lives and are trying to focus on school, but really I'm a student as well and i am pretty busy, but I still manage to balance a job, activities, and homework.
I think its fair to ask your parents for money once in a while. BUT, getting loans like that from a company and ending up with a debt you can't even pay off is just getting yourself into deeper trouble. Especially if you get away with it, later on in life you might end up with similar problems that your parents can't solve for you.
there are still 17 year olds asking parents for money, they are way old enough to get a job and earn way more money then they ask for. soon they are going to get kicked out of their house for bumming their parents but they will have to learn the hard way.

ReplyDeleteIts pretty crazy how this companie is just scamming kids for their money. In the long run this companie is doing these teens favours. Ive learned
myself about my own resposibilitie. At 18 years old i understand i need to start trying to find a way for my own income. As you grow older you
start to see your money limits go down. Everyone has time to fit in a part time job, even if its 5 hrs a week. At this point thats like 60 bucks a week which isnt so bad.
